Ice Cream Social - Wednesday September 11th We want to welcome back our Wednesday Night Young People's Bible Search Crew with an ENCHILADA AND ICE CREAM SOCIAL. Bring your children from kindergarten to 12th grade. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Bible Search starts begins at 7:00 pm. ending at 8:30 p.m. Parents are welcome to join the Adult Bible Study.
Hope Made Real/Women's Day Weekend! Plan to join us Saturday, October 19th, and Sunday, October 20th--as we learn three important lessons from the Book of Ruth. Hope Made Real, will be held this year at Almansor Court in Alhambra. This event will take place from 11:00 a.m., until 3:30 p.m. Lunch menu consist of Tuscan Chicken and Prawns or Top Sirloin and Salmon for $50.00. You may begin to make payments until October 13th, utilizing our church envelopes. Transportation will be provided. The speaker will be Pastor Camille Wooden, Abundant Life Covenant Bible Church (Abundant Life Christian Baptist Church)? of Pasadena. Women's Day will begin at 8:30 a.m. during our Sunday School hour. The dynamic Minister Donna Ringgold, of Bethel Baptist Church, San Diego will be the morning worship speaker. We are bringing you our “BACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY & our SEPTEMBER BIRTHDAY UNIT CELEBRATION”, all in one this year, and we pray all will be blessed by this Celebration! The Theme is still “EACH ONE, REACH ONE”, in our efforts to evangelize Metropolitan. Weekly Bible Study is back! Join us starting September 18 at 12:00 Noon and 7:30 pm. Rev. Joseph Walker will be leading the study at Noon on Baptist Distinctives.
