A Special Church Call Meeting to review and discuss the 2019 Proposed Budget will be held on Monday September 24, 2018 at 7 pm. Our Church Treasurer, Sis. Shirley Edwards, will guide us thru the review and discussion. All members are asked to be present, prayerful and on time.

ACE Ministry Class: In preparation for the Harvest Fest (Halloween), ACE Ministry will be facilitating The Wordless Book. Deaconess Bernetta Driver will be the Presenter. Please join us on the following dates in the Malone Hall at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, September16th and Sunday, October 14th, 21st and 28th.
Family, Spread the word--Wednesday Nite Wise returns September 12th-October 3rd. 6:30pm -7:00pm. Registration and Refreshments - Sessions begin at 7:00pm-8:30pm. Classes offered, Money Matters--Deaconess Yvonne Brown, Presenter, The Master Plan of Evangelism--Deacon J. Driver Presenter, and Estate Planning (September19th)--Attorney Marlene Cooper, Presenter. You can register today with Dr. Linda Cooper in the Vestibule before or after Morning Worship.
Harvest Fest Celebration Support: As we prepare to light up the world, our community--on the darkest day of the year, that being Halloween--we need your support. We need lots and lots of candy. We are expecting 200 children!! Please help us by donating candy (Chocolate Candy) and toys/trinkets for prizes. You may give your candy and toys/trinkets to Sis. Gloria Nunn, or leave them in the Sunday School Office. The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. We need your help in the vineyard, which is our South Lot.
Women of Faith Weekend Reflections and Modifications: Hope Made Real Woman's Conference is Saturday, October 20, 2018, at the Reefin Long Beach California. We are asking all women interested in attending to register before, or after morning worship at the table in the vestibule. We need a tentative head count for the coach and the restaurant. The tickets are $55.00 per person. If you would like to be a blessing to a mother, senior, or young lady, please sponsor one by filling out an envelope with your donation and the name of the person or persons you are sponsoring. You may utilize the installment plan of you don’t have the full amount for tickets. We will honor the Hope Made Real Woman of the Year!! There will be a special tribute to our own Sister Jennie Beard (Miss Teach). Our colors for the weekend have changed to purple and egg shell (off white), instead of Black and teal. We will keep you updated on menu selections.
Come to Sunday School: Join us in Sunday School next Sunday at 8:30 am. We have classes for all ages. It is a good time of study and preparation for morning worship at 10:00 a.m. See you there.
Attention All Students - All Ages!!! GET THE HELP YOU NEED! Tutoring is each Monday (except Holidays, spring and summer breaks) from 6:00 – 7:00 pm in Malone Hall.
Noonday Bible Study has resumed on Wednesday at Noon. Those who cannot make it to Wednesday Nite Wise at 7:30 pm, are encouraged to attend. The Youth and Young Adult Bible Study is upstairs each Wednesday at 6:00 pm.
