Thank you. Church Office Staff Women of Faith Weekend begins, Saturday, October 20, 2018 with our Hope Made Real Woman's Conference. The Conference will be held at the Reef in Long Beach California, in the Harbor View Ballroom. The tickets are $55.00 per person. Our guest speaker will be Minister Barbara Johnson of Fresno, CA. We will honor the Hope Made Real Woman of the Year! You can begin now to reserve your space on the coach with Dr. Linda Cooper. Sunday, October 21, 2018 the Sisters of Faith will lead the entire day! Beginning with Sunday School at 8:30 a.m. every class facilitated by a Sister. The 10:00 a.m. Worship Hour will be led by the Sisters of Faith, with the aid of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Nikki Wilson of Brown Memorial will be our guest speaker! The dress attire for that Sunday Morning Worship Hour is a SOLID BLACK DRESS with teal accessories. We are asking that it be a DRESS due to the special accessory that will be given and as a sign of unity. For the next three (3) months we will be studying from the book of Genesis. The title of this quarter’s study is “God’s Word and God’s People.” This quarter surveys the book of Genesis in developing lessons on God’s creation of the universe, earth, and people. It also details how God continues to co-labor with sinful humanity in reconciling and re-creating order in all things. Come join us at 8:15 a.m. in the Malone Hall on Sunday, September 2, 2018 for our first lesson “Out of the Darkness” from Genesis 1:1-13. Miss Jennie will be facilitating the discussion.
